As the Managing Partner of SeventySix Capital, I lead a sports tech venture capital firm that invests in passionate, smart, and nice entrepreneurs launching game-changing tech startups in sports, media and entertainment.In my 25 years in the VC industry, I have a track record of identifying and backing innovative companies across the tech, gaming, and sports betting industries. 16 of my investments have been acquired by top companies such as SeamlessWeb (sold to Aramark and now public as GrubHub), Take Care Health Systems (sold to Walgreens and became their healthcare clinics), NutriSystem, VSiN - The Sports Betting Media Network (sold to DraftKings), Vigtory (sold to FuboTV) and C360 (Pylon Cam company sold to Cosm). I've also sold companies to Intel, IBM, and Yahoo.I am also the author of Six Degrees of Wayne Kimmel, a book that shares the practical secrets of networking and relationship-building for success in business and life. I host the SeventySix Capital Sports Leadership Show, a digital series that brings together top leaders in sports, and I speak regularly at industry events and conferences.
