Wayne Larrabee is dedicated to the art and craft of facial plastic surgery. He is founding editor of the Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery and the Clinics of Facial Plastic Surgery. He has published over 250 scientific articles and three books- Principles of Facial Reconstruction, Surgical Anatomy of the Face, and The Art and Craft of Facial Rejuvenation. Wayne Larrabee has been President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, The American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, and the International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies. He is a founder of Face to Face to assist victims of domestic violence and director of Global Surgical Outreach which provides pro bono surgical reconstruction for children in resource poor countries. Wayne Larrabee directed the University of Washington fellowship in facial plastic surgery and has trained over 40 talented global surgeons. He is a poet and photographer who has published his art in major journals plus two books- Racing the Train and Roslyn Portrait of a Town. He is the proud father of ten children and stepchildren and 6 grandchildren.
