• In working within the Network Operations Engineering Team, I am part of the team responsible for maintaining 24 x 7 availability and stability of the network supporting over 8000 customer solutions based on 25,000.
• Successfully migrated the networking of 2 Data Centre’s into larger up to date facilities, using VPLS to reduce any down time experienced by Customers.
• Upgraded several large Data Centre’s, Distribution, Aggregation and Top of Rack switching to conform to the latest specs, thus providing a more reliable, resilient and scalable network.
• I have assisted in deploying our SRX product release. This included creating documentation and training for members of several teams within the business.
• I work closely with customers on critical events, migrations and designing new networking solutions.
• Mentor to the junior members of the NOE team as well as the TOC (Technical Operations Centre) members.
