I started my journalism career in 1974 at the North Bay Nugget as a reporter and then as chief of the West Nipissing Bureau. I relocated to Kapuskasing in 1978 as Editor of The Northern Times (till 1994) where I remained and for which I worked as Publisher and GM of the Printing Plant Norweb Corp in Timmins, a position I retained until 2014 when the printing operation was centralized to Etobicoke and the Norweb facility was closed. Since the acquisition of Sun Media by Postmedia, Publisher titles have been relagated to the trash heap and I now find myself in charge of sales as Group Director, Media Sales. But no biggy, only the title changed. The work has remained the same.
