I have worked in the accounting profession for over 30 years, commencing in the audit division of the antecedent firm of KPMG in Sydney. Originally from Wollongong, I studied and worked in Sydney before moving to Newcastle in 1982, where I joined a local accounting firm.I have worked in business and taxation services since 1982 and still perform audit functions as and when required. I was a partner in a local firm for over 15 years, and ran my own practice for a number of years before joining H&M Accountants in July 2008 on the retirement of a former partner.I am a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Registered Company Auditor, and a member of the National Tax and Accountants' Association. I maintain an active sporting life through involvement in cricket, tennis and golf.
