IEHP is a nonprofit health plan with over 1.4M members in California. In my current role, I report to the Data Science Manager with responsibility for creating and maintaining reports and dashboards. I have developed several BI solutions that pull data from multiple sources using Power BI Desktop/Service and SSRS, and I've contributed to requirements for our data warehouse.I also serve as Lead Developer for two products: * a self-service reporting tool built on the MEAN and ELK stacks that is used by 10 departments. Designed application framework, reviewed code of six-member team, and integrated code into production. * rebuilt the legacy HEDIS application into a modern web app using Angular, Node.js, and Express. HEDIS is used to track medical records, doctor visits, member visit history, and upload PDF documents for review by internal nurses to ensure compliance.

I initially joined IEHP in an individual contributor role responsible for gathering requirements and building reports before taking on Tech Lead roles. My projects included building the initial version of the HEDIS application in Access used for call tracking, medical record keeping, and appointment scheduling for medical offices. I also contributed to build of IEHP’s data warehouse (tracked terms and definitions, assisted in structure of facts and dimensions), supported various automation and testing efforts, and managed reporting (SQL, SSRS, SAS, MS Access).
