I relocated to Portland, Oregon to take on a news photographer role for this local Fox affiliate. While here, I was nominated for a Northwest Emmy Award for a feature story about Oregon Photographer Laureate Ray Atkeson.

My roots as a visual storyteller begin here. At KTVX, I had opportunity to take on a diverse range of news and feature assignments, including coverage of the explosion of Space Shuttle Challenger, and an embedded assignment in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm.Perhaps my favorite assignments, however, were those that celebrated the human spirit.
