About Wayne Pender

The common threads that run through all of my careers are information and taking on new challenges. Gathering, organizing, and presenting information to help individuals and organizations achieve goals has been a constant deliverable during my careers. Through all the career changes, learning new skills, and taking on unfamiliar tasks have become the norm. I have the experience and the soft skills needed to learn about an organization, what it does, and how to work with people inside and outside the organization to make things happen.I am a graduate of McGill University with a Masters degree in Library and Information Studies (MLIS), specializing in knowledge management. I earned an undergraduate degree (Honours) in Communication from the University of Ottawa. I also have a Diploma in Radio and Television Arts that long ago started me on my way to a wonderful twenty-five-year career in television news. Since then, I have acquired new skills, worked with wonderful people, and strung together a career that continues to evolve. Feel free to contact me through Linkedin if you have a project that could benefit from my skill set.
