• While running this operation we achieved over 500 days injury free performance which won the plant two awards from the American Panelboard Association. • Utilized Lean and Six Sigma to cut our cost of production by > $9 dollars per unit (>$5.6 million)• Worked to significantly improved community relations with the Fort St. John community.• During my time I was able to reduce the plants voluntary turnover from >20% to < 10% by developing a team culture in the organization and a link to the community

Edmonton

• Managed the Maintenance staff of the Edmonton PVC facility, this included Millwrights, Electricians, Machinists and Purchasing. • While in the role we developed a preventive maintenance program utilizing MP2, and had started developing predictive tools like oil analysis, and laser alignment

Sherwood Park, Ab

• Oversaw the safety and productivity of five manufacturing facilities, located throughout Canada• Developed processes to manage significantly increasing demand for production, including developing demand planning tools and daily production communication.• Built programs to encourage employee development and engagement.• Developed cost tracking and budgeting tools, I used to negotiate cost savings on major department expenses.

Swan Hills Ab

• Managed 85 people within the Swan Hills Waste Treatment Centre.• During my term I helped develop cost saving strategies which reduced the annual operating budget by just over $4 million.• We developed an associate driven site safety program and went over a year without a work related injury.• Worked with the maintenance and operations teams to develop reliability centered approach of maintenance which resulted in a > 7% increase in equipment reliability.
