Held several senior management role in both non-unionized and unionized environments. I have a real passion for delivering safety program results and have achieved over one year injury free in three different organizations during my career. I believe that safety is a journey which involves empowering associates to identify process improvements and then working to correct the conditions.The continuous process improvement is one that I apply to everything I do. Early in my career I spent a lot of time working on equipment reliability developing job plans and utilizing predictive maintenance techniques to prevent equipment failures. This training I have applied to all of roles. The PDCA model can be applied to all aspects of management to drive continuous improvement. This develops goal setting opportunities which through regular presentation back to the organization set direction.My belief is that only through the development of the people who work for me can I be successful. While managing Maintenance I have helped to develop several trades positions like Millwrights, Machinists, Electricians and Heavy Duty Mechanics through my ongoing support of the apprenticeship program. I have also personally developed Vibration Analysis, Predictive Maintenance Technicians and Manager throughout my career.
