In 1987, I moved to Mackay from Brisbane. I soon recognised a gap in the crane manufacturing market and used this opportunity to launch North Queensland Cranes. The business flourished and in 2002 we acquired Dowrie Cranes. During the expansion of the business, we looked to rebrand. The team wanted to still honour the history of the name and so we became NQCranes. What began as a team of 6 people, NQCranes now operates in eight locations throughout Queensland and New South Wales with a staff of over 100 Staff I am proud to have founded this great company and to see it grow and thrive over the years.
