Lead PLM, MCAD and ECAD transition efforts, including vendor selection and negotiation, data segregation, data migration, and deployment of new environments

Develop roadmap for future deployment of PLM functionality and retirement of current PDM and PLM solutions. Lead change control process, review and approve all changes for Gas Turbine accessory systems, for 7F and 9F product lines and are in accordance with Change Control Manual (CCM). This includes new requisitions as well as CM&U. Ensure that Bill of Material changes complete and accurate. Ensure that the scope of change is complete and that interfacing components and systems are addressed. Verify that manufacturing, services and field impacts are assessed and addressed during the change process. Ensure that engineering substantiation for the change is clear and satisfies project requirements. Make sure that the change is consistent with product strategy and including New Product Introduction (NPI) and Direct Material Productivity efforts. Authored changes to the NPI and technical review documents to ensure that configuration issues and concerns are dressed early in the process. Support PLM development and releases though participation in UAT for R2.0, R4.0. Authored the Product Management Operating Procedure for part creation and revision, providing a top level process for creating and modifying parts in PLM. Work with the design team to ensure that current models are used in the creation of the Product Assembly System Model (PASM), to use standard parts and models from the GBOM standard parts tables. Ensure that parts table is maintained with the current standards. Edit the PLM Huddle, a CCB newsletter, to pass lessons learned and change management process updates and changes to the design team. This includes lessons learned from mistakes and stop the line catches from the CCB team.Review monthly metrics looking for trends and identify process changes and items for inclusion in the PLM huddle.

Report to the Ground Processing Chief Engineer on technical issues, modifications, requirements and flight readiness.Provide leadership and expertise as Co-Chair of Spacecraft Integration Review Team identifying and assessing facilities and equipment status for current shuttle program Close-Out Phase; preparing and presenting recommendations to Configuration Control Board.Oversee technical activities related to the design, modification, upgrade and certification of flight hardware and ground support equipment. Reviewed cargo mission manifest requirements and developed work plan for hardware integration and installation. Generated work assignments and scheduled group members. Assured accurate incorporation of design requirements into launch preparation documents, coordinated satisfaction and provided requirement closure. Prepared Certificate of Flight Readiness for Chief Engineer to assure that all technical requirements were satisfied prior to each Space Shuttle launch.
