My story is based on four principles I embed in my approach to life each day - Commitment, Strength, Courage, and Sacrifice. This was demonstrated to me each day growing up, not in words, rather in actions by those who cared. Each day I reflect on how I have lived these principles. Commitment - I am dedicated to the people I am fortunate to interact with and focused on growing relationships. Every interaction demonstrates my resolve to them and is authentic. Strength – A wise individual once said, ‘what needs to be done is often not difficult, it’s just hard.’. I took this to mean, we all have the knowledge to do, it simply takes strength to see it through. This has become a mantra for me and has successfully carried me through many circumstances. Always believe it can be done. Courage – My most successful moments in life have been achieved through overcoming fear and doubts. Sometimes it’s delivering on a promise or having a difficult conversation, each can require a differing level of courage. Challenges are disguised opportunities to stretch myself and inspire/motivate those around me. Sacrifice - Personal success should not come at the peril of others. I believe in sharing opportunities to allow others to grow and succeed, stretching their abilities. I often find I learn as much from the experience as they do.
