Graduate of MSc Geospatial Analysist and Remote Sensing.Skilled in Analytical Skills, Critical Thinking, Research, Data Collection, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing.Following a hugely successful three years of living and working in both Canada and New Zealand, I decided to return to Ireland and pursue a degree in History and Geography in University College Dublin, from which I graduated in 2022 with a First Class Honors Degree. My interests in cartography and mapping were deepened when I was introduced to GIS during my undergrad, in which motivated me to enroll in an MSc in Geospatial Data Analysis and Remote Sensing from which I graduated in 2023 again with a First Class Honors Degree. After moving to Toronto, Canada, I developed a curiosity for the form and function of cities, the urban metabolism and the infrastructure supporting it. Exploring the streets and alleyways of the city with my camera truly set me on my current path. Later after moving to New Zealand where nature is highly valued, I developed a interest in the natural environment, its contrast with the urban environment and how we can strike a healthy balance between both.My interests lay within both the urban and natural environment, such as sustainability, urban planning, conservation, transport, and the social sciences, where I thoroughly enjoy the use of GIS and remote sensing to tackle some of the most pressing issues and challenges within these fields. I believe GIS and remote sensing have a huge role to play in these fields in the near future, and it is my desire to be a part of this geospatial revolution and contribute by what I love doing.
