As a Professor of Industrial Automation at Niagara College, I am passionate about teaching and developing courses in Industrial Robotics, PLCs, Industrial Project Management, and Power Electronics. I have over 35 years of experience as a Senior Electrical Controls Engineer and Manager, working with a wide variety of PLC, CNC, and Robotic Machining, Assembly, and Testing Equipment. I have also gained valuable overseas experience, including four years on assignment with GM Powertrain in Thailand.My core competencies include Programming and Troubleshooting complex industrial systems, Power Systems, Plant Engineering, Management and Planning. I am a licensed Professional Engineer and enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with the next generation of industrial automation professionals. Of course, I am always eager to learn from them as well. My mission is to contribute to the advancement and innovation of the industrial automation field through education and research.

    Initially contracted to Develop and now Teaching Industrial Robotics and Project Management part-time as part the new Graduate Industrial Automation curriculum. Robot course includes Theory, Kinematics, Controls and Safety Systems as well as a Hands-on Lab with ABB Robots and also working with ABB Robot Studio Software (ELNC9104, ELNC9204). Project Management course will focus on Project Planning as applied to an Industrial Controls Projects including Risk Analysis, Requirement Elicitation, Quality Attribute Workshops as well as Hand-on Computer Lab exercises using Microsoft Project (ELNC9108). The second course in the series explores how to plan and adapt project and customer requirements to a simulated factory using Factory IO Software and Rockwell PLC's. (ELNC9208).
