I can still fondly recall a memory of receiving my first Lego set from my parents as a child. I discovered much later that unlike most other children at that age, my obsession with building and designing through these little plastic blocks was slightly out of the ordinary - I would spend days on finding ideas and creating different structures and even remember being told off for skipping dinners at times. Eventually, the shortage of lego pieces overtook my obsession and I found myself building and working on larger things. However this stuck with me as time passed as to how those building blocks (pardon the pun) truly shaped my life and the perspectives that would carry on until the present. As I defined my passion for engineering further, I learnt that being a Structural Engineer was not simply a dream but a means of life and a way of seeing the world. My personal curiosity and delight of engineering led me to pursue a career and deeper study into the field. As the old adage says, Rome was not built in a day and I have learnt in my experience the great truth behind this saying to be attributed to the importance of great planning, teamwork and knowledge. Through my experiences in work and life, I learn and aim to cultivate a deep sense of respect, teamwork, commitment and understanding for those I work and interact with.As a recent graduate of Bachelors of Civil Engineering (Honours), I am focused on furthering my learning and application of the skills I have gathered from my studies and internships as a Civil Engineer. I endeavour to further my skills and abilities from my peers and colleagues and am dedicated to continue this passion in building and engineering as a professional. Throughout my personal and professional career, a few of my key attributes and experiences are: - Consistently acting lead for team projects and assisting teams to plan and execute projects to successful completion and high scoring outcomes. - Working independently on personal research and actively pursuing internships and roles in the engineering industry during the duration of my studies. - Through my internships, I have championed and managed client relationships as well as collaborating and learning through real life projects with other architects, drafters, engineers and teams. In a nutshell, I am deeply steadfast to my pursuit of a role as a Civil Engineer and to apply my skills, knowledge and passions for the field. I am actively applying for roles as a fresh graduate and would love to discuss further on how I can be a valuable asset to your company.

As an intern, I gained new experience and knowledge that will be useful for my future jobs. This intership aids me in understanding the fundamentals of a project and what extra knowledge is necessary for the project. When learning on a structural project, I realised that having a huge and high-end project requires a lot of knowledge, commitment, and dedication. During my period, I was required to explore the site often, attend both occasionally and weekly meetings with clients and co-workers separately, ensuring which area needed attention and others. I find this internship experience a very challenging one as I was only a first year in my university, which means that I have know prior knowledge for the supposedly job, but also very worthwhile, as I managed to catch on a lot of necessary experience to carry forward.

Good experience for my first part-time job during my college year. I learnt various things as a shop employee. I gained some knowledge on tobaccos and cigars in order to impress the new customers of the store. I also learnt to count profit and loss on daily basis, and how to keep track on the shop's earnings. Having learn the skills of the shop employee, I'm somewhat confident that I could be of good use in the working industry lest part-time jobs involving marketing business. With my basic skills, I can at least be able to work unsupervised unless different methods are used.
