I continue my practice working with natural resources, water and real estate clients on project permitting, environmental review and regulatory matters.,

I practiced in the areas of natural resources and environmental law, working with clients in the manufacturing, mining, energy, railroad, forest products, real estate and agriculture industries. My principal areas of experience include:--Water quality and water resources, including NPDES permitting, nonpoint source pollution, wetlands and water rights; --Land use and resource planning; --Facility siting, project development and permitting; --Mine permitting and reclamation; --Forest management; --Federal and state endangered species and fish and wildlife conservation; --National Environmental Policy Act and California Environmental Quality Act; and --Soil and groundwater contamination. I work regularly with clients on permitting, administrative appeals, legislation and regulations, enforcement and business transactions involving these issues.

While in the Solicitor's Office in Washington, D.C., I worked on natural resources and environmental issues relating to U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission: Public Land Use and Access, Natural Resources Development; Water Supply and Water Quality; Hydropower; and Fish and Wildlife and Endangered Species.
