A long-time resident of Alaska. A member and past president of the Juneau Bar Association, and a former member of the Alaska Academy of Trial Lawyers board of governors. In addition to practicing law for 30 years, including 14 as a criminal defense and employment law attorney with his own firm, Dan has worked in commercial fishing, fish processing, radio and TV broadcasting, construction, property management, theatre arts, public education, tourism, labor organizing, retail, and, for a very short time, timber logging. He is active in community performing arts as a singer, stage actor, and production team member.
