I have been employed by Vodafone UK since 1989, prior to which I was a civilian in the Army. During my employment at Vodafone I have spent time as an IT support engineer and then team leader, been seconded to The Netherlands to help set-up the network, designed and implemented processes to manage the on-going production of business critical network elements and most recently, defined and implemented processes and policies to manage the build and deployment of network elements and power infrastructure into the UK mobile telephone exchange and access environments.I am a very organised, self motivated, thorough but pragmatic individual who likes to see all project milestones and deliverables completed to the required standards within the allowable timeframe. I am a great believer in the importance of becoming totally engaged in producing deliverables to the best of your ability, whilst still enjoying the task in hand. Over the past few years my technical interests and skills have moved from IT software support and management into the design and implementation of hardware and supporting infrastructure.
