Safety And Emergency Preparedness Manager
CurrentConducts research and compiles information necessary to develop and update policies and standard operating procedures for the implementation and management of a comprehensive safety and security program to include company-wide communication protocols for crisis management, cyber security, emergency preparedness and response, disaster recovery coordination both internal and external along with business continuity planning. Prepares and reviews data to support the needs of all departments in the areas of safety and security, including summarizing requirements and identifying deliverables for departmental response. Coordinates and provides training with all departments to ensure uniform application of safety and security policies and procedures. Coordinates and performs on-site safety and security inspections/reviews with follow up solutions. Provides company-wide continuous and thorough management of access controls and camera surveillance systems. Acts as primary contact for all related security and safety issues. Assists with establishment of protocol of responsiveness to site situations such as building security alarm, fire alarm, hazardous materials spill or customer issues. Assists with site specific safety drills and practice evacuations. Supports all departments by promoting awareness, recommending training and reviews all issues related to operational and work site safety and security. Chairs the CCWA Department Peer Safety Team by conducting a monthly safety meeting to review all vehicle/equipment accidents and injuries to investigate and analyze root cause in an effort to provide loss control recommendations. Additionally performs safety inspections of CCWA facilities to further train the safety team on loss prevention measures. Maintains, tracks, prepares and reviews various data, reports, forms and requests. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
