1) Manage and coordinate Campus information security practices and projects.- Analyze plans, assess recommendations from PASSHE, Educause and other resources on information security best practices for implementation on campus.- Balances security requirements and predicted risk with academic needs.- Implements and monitors standard security practices on campus desktops and laptops.- Develop and implements processes to protected campus webservers and library servers from unintended or unauthorized access, change or deletion.- Manages the efforts to verify compliance with SANS CIS Critical Security Controls 7.0 and applicable NIST Cyber Security Framework.- Defined and enforced information security policies and practices.2) Manage Campus websites and portals.- Responsible for the technical development and ongoing development and maintenance of the university’s Drupal based website.- Research, propose and implement web design, technical, usability and accessibility standards to all web service and web development groups across campus.- Analyze server traffic and web usage statistics and generate reports as needed.3) Manage all technology resources, services, and projects for Andruss Library & 2016 Library system migration project for the Keystone Library Network Consortium.

Supported all areas in the library and the library network infrastructure as well as assisted faculty members with PC related questions and supported their Win95 desktops. The most significant project included migration from Windows 95 to Windows NT 4.0 Workstation connection to Novell NetWare 4.11. Defined base workstation security configuration for campus.

Supported student labs and teaching classrooms in a higher education setting. Responsibility for lab administration, software license tracking, automated system restoration, student lab consultant workers, and management procedures for the labs and classrooms.

Responsible for management of all library technology projects such as server and networking infrastructure projects and other technology needs; Administration of various Linux and Windows Servers necessary for both Library and campus projects. Selected, evaluated, implemented, secured, and maintained various RBMS platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Oracle 10i and PostgreSQL 8.1 for various projects and systems depending on the needs assessment of the project. Implemented VMware Virtual Infrastructure and VMware ESX/vSphere 4.x build out for server consolidation on an EMC fiber channel SAN. Created specialized library web sites in PHP4 on Apache/Linux or VBScript for IIS/NT. Connected PHP4 and ASP (vbscript) based websites to Oracle 9, MS-SQL Server, or PostgreSQL for database storage. Defined and implemented various information security projects, including securing web applications and databases from unauthorized access. Designed and implemented the campus wireless network using Cisco hardware, and PEAP/TKIP security.

Training: pursued training and testing for Novell CNE. Trained on Microsoft Windows NT 3.51 Advanced Server for integration with Novell projects. Job responsibilities included: installing, training, and troubleshooting customer networks. Major Network Operating Systems used: Netware 4.10, Netware 3.1x, Windows NT 3.51; Configured office Novell LAN to connect to the Internet via 3com routers. Configured Ascend ISDN routers to connect customer's LANs to the Internet via CSR's sister company, UPLINK. Responsible for preparing for security audits with specifically banking customers. Responsible for system administration on Solaris UNIX boxes at CSR and UPLINK. Used teamwork to complete many major networks installs. Completed jobs in timely manner and was responsible for speedy work to save customers downtime.
