• Direct and manage the execution of chemistry optimization & characterization (Product Chemistry) and scale-up (Process Development Engineering) projects that lead to new commercialized products that enable semiconductor manufacturing. • Completed 3 product transfers (BrewerBOND®) to commercial status and launched into manufacturing in 5 months. • Actively competed for new multi-million dollar business with 3 new product platforms. Won 2. • Completed design, build out, and startup of a new dedicated R&D laboratory in 9 months. • Led a team of 11 process chemists and engineers (5 Ph.D.'s) to continuously improve product development processes and systems that enhance product quality and provide clear, documented product and process understanding.

• Led the implementation of the Quality Engineering (QE) function at Brewer Science. • Started with and managed a team of 3 quality engineers, a statistician, and an analyst in the development and implementation of systemic, data-driven processes.• Conducted Product Control System (PCS) reviews with Integrated Device Manufacturers (IDM) for key and control parameters and managed control (CLCR) and metrology (P/T, P/V) limits to meet ship-to-control requirements. • Initiated and drove processes that reduced non-conformances, assured best practices throughout the process & product development process from R&D through Manufacturing and promoted continuous improvement projects (CIPs) that established and sustained a quality incident-free (QIF) environment.

• Led a team of 5 process engineers in executing process & product improvements. • Reduced closure rate for non-conformances 93% from a 3-month rolling average of 200 to 13 days in 4 months. • Closed 105 non-conformances in 2013. • Led the successful design, installation, qualification & start-up of chemical production equipment for the new 25,000 sq. ft. plant facility in Vichy, MO.

• Plan, prepare, and conduct introductory courses in technical management (EMGT 1100, 2110) for the Engineering Management & Systems Engineering department open to all engineering majors. • Organize and teach an online, asynchronous course in Canvas Learning Management System aimed at introducing management concepts for engineering students.• Initiate interactive activities that further comprehension and create a positive learning environment.• Encouraging students to achieve their goals through open communication, positive feedback, and support.• Delivering instruction ranging from 45 to 130 students per semester in engineering management fundamentals.

• Manage the probate process and intestate succession for the Estate.• Complete key legal processes such as notices to creditors, completion of inventory of assets across 3 states, and securing real & personal property. • Direct and manage the work of 3 attorneys in the states of Florida, Mississippi, and Alabama. Final decision-making for answers to creditor claims, court-ordered requests, and disposition/preservation of property & assets.

• Provided financial reporting, planning and analysis to the global R&D organization. • Responsible for $830M in annual spend and $140M in capital spend affecting 3,500+ employees worldwide. • Responsibilities included consolidation and analysis of the global R&D organization's monthly operations costs, leading the monthly accounting close process, coordinating the development of timely and accurate operational and cash flow budgets, forecasts and Long- Range Plans. • Managing the capital plan including budgets, forecasts, & approvals and leading the annual fixed asset inventory for R&D. • Focused on processes and systems and identifying and implementing business process/reporting efficiencies. Eliminated 2 days from the accounting close process.

• Performed complex financial valuation analysis on a multi-billion dollar global portfolio of soybean & canola transgenic agronomic & food quality trait-related products & supporting pipeline development projects in collaboration with R&D, Commercial, and Corporate Strategy teams within Monsanto. • Increased by $357 million the value of the $4.6 billion Oilseeds R&D product portfolio through evaluation of product timelines, challenging value propositions, and reviewing enabling technologies with project teams.• Initiated the development and implementation of portfolio level strategies across multiple product concepts for my area of responsibility, including trade-off decisions, and provided insights relating to interactions and synergies between products within the Oilseeds portfolio, e.g. modeling of trait stacking. • Executed Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404) & Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) audits in 3 manufacturing locations in Brazil: Uberlândia, São José dos Campos, & Camaçari.

• Primary responsibility for strategic finance support of the Dairy, Swine Genetics, and Lawn & Garden businesses but also provided business analysis support for various Corporate Strategy projects. • Completed financial due diligence on an $8.5M dollar loan for Choice Genetics (swine) group. • Performed moderately complex legal analysis on contract & IP matters. Generated legal memoranda for litigation research in two products liability actions. Reviewed trademark license agreements for validity & potential dilution. • Deal analysis & negotiation of long-term strategic alliance agreements with distributors & retailers for the acetanilide herbicide business. Authored strategic alliance contract amendments codifying financial incentives based on my calculations.

• Business consulting for mid-size to large pharmaceutical companies. Primarily worked with the J.D. Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation project. • Managed and led the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) required computer system validation of the new ERP system for Ivax Pharmaceuticals LLC, a $450 million generic pharmaceutical manufacturer in Miami, Florida. • Planned & executed the installation (IQ), operational (OQ), & performance qualification (PQ) phases. The client’s Quality Assurance group approved the entire validation.

Microflex Business Planner – Electronic Products Division• Responsible for equipment capacity planning, critical department spending forecasting, staffing & critical raw material forecasting, & manufacturing capacity issues. • Optimized capacity planning and reduced total capital spending using Excel models based on Constraint Management principles. Deferred $2M in capital expenditures for 3 years.Advanced Manufacturing Product Engineer – Electronic Products Division• Provided product technical service to Lexmark, HP, Olivetti, & ITRI (a Taiwanese Consortium) companies by acting as the "Voice of the Customer" within 3M, leading quality teams, & establishing Six Sigma processes. • Developed & executed gold electroplating cost reduction projects for savings of $500,000 utilizing designed experiments (DOX) and analysis of variance (ANOVA) techniques.• Created a qualitative first article inspection process for rapid prototyping processes. Reduced product design cycle time from 21 to 7 days. Manufacturing Process Engineer – Specialty Materials Manufacturing Division• Directed the manufacture of pharmaceutical solutions under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s) and batch polymers for use in pressure sensitive adhesive applications in over 20 product divisions worldwide.• Reduced manufacturing unit costs for savings of $800,000 within 2 years.• Managed capital equipment & products worth over $5 million dollars.• Implemented pollution reduction programs & eliminated 375 tons of waste. Earned 7 Pollution Prevention Pays (3P) awards.
