VIPER Team (Violence Interruption/Prevention Emergency Response) • Worked in a 5 person intelligence section attached to the Merced county’s gang task force; specializing in violent crime and narcotics.• Responsible for maintaining statistical data on all crimes within Merced county.• Worked with Livingston Police Chief and Detectives to identify and create crime trend models.• Performed tactical intelligence analysis which aided in identifying multiple crime series as well as crime hot spots.• Assisted Livingston PD, and other agencies, in deploying resources focusing on the prevention and suppression of criminal activity.• Provided intelligence support aiding in the apprehension of over 60 gang members along with $250,000, over 70 weapons, 21,000+ rounds of ammunition along with miscellaneous drugs and paraphernalia.• Attended regional meetings of crime analysis professionals in order to share information on crime patterns, methodologies, techniques and new tools
