Now I get to pay it forward by helping to shape career development opportunities and events that help make everyone in our global team at G Adventures as excited to grow and be inspired to do their best work as I am! While the exact recipe for this is a trade secret, I can say the chief ingredients are an amazing and ever-evolving culture, a strong sense of community, a healthy dose of accountability & agility, and I also like it with hot sauce--but that's not for everyone. I genuinely believe we have one of the best teams in one of the best companies in the industry, so it's pretty hard not to feel proud of all the work we do! As part of the Learning team, not only do I help develop new learning programs for our global staff, but I get to head out and deliver it to our amazing people all over the globe. Sure, we want to make our training informative and accessible, but we also want to make it ridiculously fun. Being a former nerd, I can leverage my technical kung-fu to create learning materials that are 73.1% more cool and score 8-10 metric "wows" above your traditional learning materials.Given my last role as Karma Chameleon, I help make sure that our award-winning G Adventures culture is woven deeply into all our training, which in turn makes sure that all our decisions and actions are rooted in that cultural foundation too. Cool, huh?

I manage our award-winning leadership development programming here at G. Picture this: you and 11 of your kick-ass colleagues are whisked off to one of our super cool destinations, which have included Russia, Vietnam, Costa Rica, and Uzbekistan. The dozen of you superstars spend a week doing some serious introspection and tackling subjects like servant leadership, emotional intelligence, business acumen, psychological safety, risk & failure, resilience, and more. In between, you're exploring the inspirational destination and making life-long connections with your peers, your coaches from all levels of senior management, even the founder of the company. That's our leadership camp experience in a nutshell—and it's some of the most rewarding work I've ever done. I'm also lucky enough to not only help develop exciting content along side my brainy teammates, but also head out and facilitate a few along the way!Additionally, I help develop and deliver some of our other talent-driven learning initiatives too. I'm very proud to say a that a number of our in-house learning solutions have received awards and recognition thanks to the hard work of our killer learning team here. They're pretty great, and I'm fortunate to work with such talented people.

As if the title isn't self-explanatory enough?For those that aren't sure, as a Karma Chameleon, I've been a member of our G Force team, who helps to cultivate our global G Adventures culture. Yep, we've recognized that our company culture is *so* important to us, that we have a whole department dedicated to it. We want to make sure everyone at G Adventures is connected to the company, to each other, and to everyone that's a fan of our brand. We'll tackle stuff like company events, communications, and recognition, all on a global scale. Ace!
