I train and direct a team of developers on the best practices for design, implementation and support for all Boomi integrations utilized by Presidio. We are responsible for integrations between internal custom, on prem applications and databases, cloud systems (including Salesforce, D365), and various external vendor systems.Primary Focus: modernize the enterprise's integration architecture to Azure Service Bus (pub/sub model) expanding volume capabilities while optimizing server resource usage

As the Senior Integration Engineer for the team, I oversee the Boomi integration platform utilization. Included in my responsibilities are the architectural design, implementation, and management of the 50+ integrations utilized by Presidio’s business entities. These integrations control data movement between in-house systems, external 3rd party systems (Cisco B2B), and cloud applications, such as Salesforce, and D365. I also mentor, train, and guide the other members of the integration team.

-Provides enterprise architecture and integration advisory and development services leveraging the Boomi platform.-Principal architect for advanced integration design, environment setup, configuration and deployment best practices, implementation of self-healing error handling and automated monitoring, custom integration development, knowledge management, and platform environment administration.

- Principal lead responsible for end-to-end design, development, and administration of Boomi integrations among NetSuite OneWorld ERP (51 Legal Subsidiaries across US and EU) and multiple external systems including multiple CRMs, eCommerce platforms, DW, BI, and banking. - Managed integration refactoring to support corporate reorganization as a result of M&A activity (17 new legal entities), new business process enablement, and automation of previously manual processes across five business units in North America and Europe.

Designed a common data API layer using SoA design concepts. The service layer provides a common data model consumed by the Imparter product stack, removing the need for custom development to connect to different client systems. The layer communicates with client and company systems including Salesforce, SugarCRM, HubSpot, and SQL Server. Additionally, since there is still a need for custom mapping by each client into the common data objects, the service layer was designed to allow self-configuration via JSON definition files. Imparter provides a portal where clients can manage leads, assigning them out to partners. Original routines required manual intervention to transfer those leads into the partners’ CRMs. I utilized Boomi to design processes to collect from the client system, and route the leads out to the appropriate partner’s CRM. The project was expanded to include webhooks, taking advantage of Salesforce’s outbound message feature, as well as event triggered processes. These additions expedited the delivery time, and streamlined processing by eliminating polling routines.

Working with the Client Engagement team at TriCore, I determined the root causes to many of their workflow issues. From that assessment, I utilized Boomi to design and develop integration processes to optimize the teams data access and processing. Secondarily, I created an API service layer, and assisted in Saleforce workflow and page design, which allowed the Client Engagement team access to real time patient results and data within their new Salesforce portal. One of the key processes to update was the delivery of critical results to physicians. I developed a workflow utilizing Boomi processes and Salesforce pages tied into their new portal, to implement a new approach to Critical result handling. No longer was a person (or persons) required to dedicate themselves to critical result call-outs. Now anyone on the floor, who was properly cleared, could step in to handle critical call-outs as they came in, a key step in their efficiency increase as a team.In addition to the Client Engagement Portal, TriCore was developing a Healthcare Provider Portal allowing doctors to access patient test results in real time. I created over 50 API processes to provide that real time access to millions of patient, order and test result records. To support these APIs, I created new SQL Server database routines and processes as well. Over 90% of these APIs had an average response time of 1 second or less. All of the APIs had custom monitoring and error handling built in to ensure a 99% up-time. All APIs for the Client Engagement access and the Provider Portal communicated with multiple on-prem and cloud systems including Salesforce CRM, Salesforce - Custom Apex Application, SQL Server, Microsoft Great Plains, JIRA, and Service Now. The APIs and integration processes were designed to meet strict HIPPA security guidelines.Additionally, all projects were completed following Agile development techniques with tight integration into the stake holder teams.

TriCore transitioned to new servers and a new data center. During the transition, I managed the migration of 10+ active enterprise databases. Because the databases contained healthcare data, it was required that the service interruption was minimized during the transition. To assist in the migration, Boomi processes were developed to provide a common access point to the data, so the migration did not affect the front end applications data access.

I started with the responsibilities of database management and development. I was part of the team responsible for management, support, and maintenance of multiple enterprise SQL Server databases. All of the databases had a 24/7 uptime requirement. I was able to oversee the design and implementation of new databases for 2 new in house applications. I also took on the task of migrating outdated SQL Server 7 databases to the current company standard, SQL Server 2008. A new tool set, Dell Boomi, was brought in TriCore. I championed the use of Boomi. To demonstrate its abilities, I used Boomi to mirror an existing “black box” data retrieval process, which allowed an alternative, and configurable, delivery of data previous thought unattainable. After the initial success, I implemented Boomi processes to replace 10+ existing data management and transfer routines. These implementations sped up processing from hours to minutes in many cases, freed up system resources, and reduced the database record locking times. All of these improvements allowed fast transactional throughput in the databases, and expanded the reporting capabilities available by presenting aggregated data in a more timely fashion.

PowerDB (formally Optima Systems) is a software company in Central Texas. I had the pleasure to start work with them as they began a new data management tool for the Power Test and Distribution industry. The new application, PowerDB, became their flagship product, and drove the company to being purchased by Megger Inc, a producer of testing equipment for the same industry. I started working with Optima Systems as a software developer. As the new application grew, I took on the less popular back-end work. By the nature of the industry, most of the data collection was done in the field, while the team was "offline". With the application's primary work performed offline, custom data synchronization routines, both automated and manual, were required. The synchronization routines had to move data between laptops in the field, via USB sticks or Ethernet, as well as returning field collected data back to the main office, when an internet connection was available. I took on the task of designing and implementing the synchronization module. As the owner of the synchronization module, I also took on the responsibility for maintaining general data integrity and stability within the application MS Access and MS SQL Server databases. I earned my DBA certifications for Microsoft SQL Server (2000-2008). I became the company's database expert, overseeing not only the synchronization module, but also all database maintenance and upgrade routines within the application, as well as initiating the service offering of hosting client data repositories. Finally, I was the lead technical support for large clients, called on to assist high value customers setup and implement PowerDB within their ecosystem. I personally worked with clients included national testing companies, like Emerson, as well as regional utility companies, such as New York's ConEd, and California's PG&E.
