Providing hands-on inspection of roof structures on a large chain of hardware stores across national Australia. This is a diverse role which encompassed the inspections as well as producing the reports detailing our findings and coordinating between other team members, logistics and store managers. The inspections are completed inside the stores using a boom type elevated working platform (EWP).

Brought on-board to optimize designs for Advetec’s machines that use a unique technology to process waste from a variety of organic waste streams. My role incorporated developing existing machines and designing new from initial concept. The role included a lot of responsibility, due to having no supervisor and working directly with the COO of the company. Main duties included: 3D Design using Computer-Aided Design (CAD – Solidworks) Compilation and configuration of manufacturing drawings and BOM Site drawings and customer support Liaison with suppliers, customers and commissioning engineers Ensuring that all product designs are cost effective to manufacture

During my time at Incotech, I worked on various special purpose machinery projects from initial concept design through to manufacture, commissioning and final customer acceptance (from cradle to grave). This included questioning and understanding the customer’s specifications before completing concept designs using Solidworks and Pro-E, then writing quotes. Further detailing of the design in 3D, followed by creating 2D engineering drawings, BOMs and assembly drawings. When the manufacturing of the parts has been completed the machine is then assembled, commissioned, delivered and finally training the operators on site. All of which I was involved in, whilst working alongside a member of the electrical department.
