Duties:• Provide technical consultation/expertise/support in solving electromagnetic compatibility, electromagnetic interference, electromagnetic radiation hazard, and radio frequency solutions.• Evaluate customer requirements and develop technical solutions.• Develop procedures and measurement techniques• Provide technical reports• Review engineering designs and specification for reliability, maintainability, and effectiveness• Research, analyze, and determine available options or the feasibility of different advanced approaches to resolve complex issues related to E3Achievements:• Authored over a dozen engineering reports that communicated technically complex methods and solutions to non-technical audiences.• Independently developed and continue to maintain test automation software that has been responsible for a 66% cut in costs associated with temporary duty assignments.• Incorporated a new binary encoder to the data pipeline which resulted in a 75% reduction in stored file size.• Engineered a software method to model obscura around antenna radomes, resulting in takeover of workload that was previously bid to contractors.• Engineered a software method to model the near field intensity of parabolic aperture antennas used to determine safe separation distances for personnel near high gain antenna terminals.• Regularly innovate new test and measurement methods in response to changing requirements, including creating a new method to collect and report radio coverage data while driving, resulting in a significant increase in coverage resolution.
