In 2018 I started The Halp Network with the goal of finding a better way of connecting talented, hardworking, self-employed creatives working in post-production with the very many innovative and ground-breaking content creators, small and large, across the entertainment spectrum who may need them. Our focus is, and continues to be, on building our network around quality and trust. So many freelancers are lacking guidance, expertise, and experience to properly build their brand, market themselves, seek employment opportunities, and more so, be properly compensated and credited for their work. This is even further evident and exacerbated in creative talent from marginalized and underrepresented communities who often don't get the same opportunities for employment as others.Now, with 25+ years of project/production management, high-profile client relationship management, and business development expertise under my belt, and a growing roster of clients and creatives, my team at THN are helping creators be more inclusive and find talent from diverse backgrounds. This is enabling productions to reach new heights in creative storytelling, narrative writing, vocal performance, and artistic design - making video games, television, and film come alive through the addition of underrepresented voices. We continue to seek out and grow our diverse creative talent of varying skill levels and experience, and commit to each person reaching new heights in their own professional development through education and opportunities. By working to recruit, mentor, and connect underrepresented creatives with paying opportunities, we create a pipeline of change. Equity and inclusivity better connect us to the shared human experience; it also allows for endless creative opportunities and explorations.I am a savvy negotiator, problem-solver & arbitrator. I am a project leader who functions both in a team environment and individually. I have had special expertise in managing large internal and external teams, adhering to production schedules, and maintaining multi-million dollar budgets. Further, I have experience developing several successful educational and entertainment interactive games on multiple console platforms, handhelds, as well as PC and Mac.
