Fed and oversaw cattle and horses. Tagged, tattooed, branded, vaccinated, wormed, weighed, doctored, castrated, moved, and counted cattle; took blood samples for pregnancy checks; calved heifers and cows out; executed rotational grazing of cattle; maintained cattle BCS; met target gains on stockers/replacement heifers sending to special sales; and worked cattle horseback/on foot. Maintained accurate herd data, treatment protocols, herd health records, breedings (AI and natural), pasture rotations, and vaccinations on Cattlemax program and on paper records. Registered Brangus cattle through IBBA. Maintained landscape and grounds around ranch facility yards, barnyard, pastures, arena, and arena parking lot. Prepared covered 112x270 arena for events.Managed or helped with ranch improvement projects including: repairing fences, gates, roadways, water troughs and lines, and box stall drinkers and water lines. Other projects: light welding, plumbing, and torch work, painting, and cutting/spraying mesquite/cedar/weeds.
