Prepared covered 112x270 arena for events.Managed or helped with ranch improvement projects including: repairing fences, gates, roadways, water troughs and lines, and box stall drinkers and water lines. Other projects: light welding, plumbing, and torch work, painting, and cutting/spraying mesquite/cedar/weeds. Operated and maintained basic maintenance and fluids on all equipment/tools/implements.Cared for ranch horses: feeding, doctoring, taking to vet, riding, training, breeding, and ground work with horses. Prepared ranch horses for sale and took to sales; and prepared yearlings for horse sales (grooming, slicking out, exercising, lunging, handling feet, teaching to square hooves, ordering and taking hair for DNA test kits, correcting registration papers through AQHA). Taught horseback riding lessons to therapeutic riding instructors. Recorded ranch horse health, vaccination, worming, farrier, and vet work records. Equine director for therapeutic riding center.
