About Lisa Ingram

As President and CEO, I (along with my amazing team) are responsible for vision, strategy, and P&L operations of the iconic hamburger chain started in 1921 by my great grandfather. White Castle has over 330 company owned restaurant locations in the Midwest and Northeast. We also operate a Retail Division which sells frozen hamburgers and cheeseburgers in grocery and retail chains across the nation. In addition, we manufacture our hamburger buns and hamburger patties as well as our retail products in our 6 manufacturing and production facilities. We believe that manufacturing our own products and operating our own restaurants allows for us to ensure consistency and quality to both our team members and our customers. Our 10,000 team members are second to none and continue to delivery memorable moments to our internal and external customers on a daily basis. We strive to keep White Castle relevant, quirky and fun after 100 years, and into our next century. We are a 4th generation family business and I am honored to have many family members working in the business with me to help build on this legacy brand. I currently Chair the Board of Directors for White Castle, as well sit on the board of MI Homes (MHO), a publicly traded, small cap home builder - headquartered in Columbus, OH, and Chair the Board of OhioHealth - a large non-profit hospital system in Ohio. Prior to White Castle, I was responsible for $6M marketing budget to drive sales and profits at Daisytek in Dallas, TX. With 6 direct reports we developed and launched an online ordering catalog in 8 months in addition to implementing all marketing plans. During my MBA internship, I developed a European Channel strategy for Hewlett Packard in Boise, ID and Europe. I had the opportunity to work for Senator John Glenn during a college summer intern as well wait tables during college at Snuffer's Bar and Grill (home of the world’s best cheese fries IMO) in Dallas, TX.
