Sports are romantic!Do you remember when Eli Manning spun out of an arm tackle, whizzed a ball downfield to David Tyree, who caught the ball on his head, before the Giants went on to win Super Bowl 42? I remember running around the room as we all shouted in disbelief; I was only 10, but it feels like yesterday.When I was 13, Derrick Rose became the youngest MVP ever, after a dazzling season of dunks, buzzer-beaters, and wow-moments with the Bulls. I've never been more amazed by an athlete. These are among the moments that made me fall in love with sport.In my current role at Nike, I get to pour back into these moments that ignited my love for sport, through getting to lead and drive our tennis, football, and baseball footwear and apparel creation process, where our Men's Sport team crafts product stories around key athletes, models, and seasonal colors to tie into these pivotal moments for sport culture.Outside of this work, I deeply love pouring into the next generation, growing in faith with my church community, experimenting in storytelling through writing and poetry, as well as adventuring around this beautiful world with my people.I would love to chat (even if it's just about the latest Slam)!
