I have an allergy to red tape and am constantly looking to introduce Lean and Agile methods to eliminate waste and inefficient processes. I have the innate ability to detect and remove waste and look to strike the balance between safety, compliance, productivity and efficiency. When there is an anomaly or a unique situation, I bring the ability to find the most efficient solution, get my team on board and make it happen. I believe now is always the best time to take action and believe in proactive planning ahead of reactive response whenever possible.You will see in my work experience detailed below that I have had a very successful career in the United States Air Force, where as an officer, I reached the rank of Colonel. At this level of leadership, my focus is often on developing strategy and overseeing program implementation. Though I have often had to look at the big picture of operational strategy, such as staffing allocation and career path planning for 14,000 personnel at 43 organizations, I never lose sight of taking care of my people. I am a naturally jovial and gregarious person who rarely meets a stranger. As I prepare to wrap up my USAF career in June of 2024, I am looking for a new opportunity to leverage my operations leadership skills in managing high-volume production environments with the highest levels of efficiency.
