Identifying opportunities/markets where our content would be usable and contacting pertinent organizations and entities to whom content would be pitched; negotiating all relevant financial agreements with clients; organization and management of procedures for executing license agreements, liaising with lawyers to process legal matters, with law enforcement agencies to curb unauthorized use of copyright/trademark/performance rights; generating revenue of approx. Rs. 42 million.Ours was a ground-breaking effort in Pakistan to successfully and effectively implement content licensing and performance rights.

Planning, organization and management (in entirety) of sports events and championships in Pakistan. Event management & event planning were integral parts of my responsibilities. My prior experience of launching “Boxer – Aik Mukka Aur” and the two international boxing series proved immensely valuable in managing the increasing scope of new projects. As APM I was responsible for creating and presenting concepts; budgets and cost control; collaboration with all relevant departments (in-house and external vendors); overseeing all details of the events from venue set-up to venue pack-up; monitoring internal and external media coverage and following up with media to ensure maximum exposure and favorable reviews. Organization and management of beginning-to-end execution of sports events and championships in Pakistan. As I was brought on board specifically to launch the boxing league, I created the concept and worked with the relevant departments to develop the promotional campaign (print & electronic), media plans, marketing plans and packages, and ensured judicious allocation of all technical and human resources. Projects: • “Boxer – Aik Mukka Aur,” Pakistan’s first ever National Boxing League• First-ever boxing series between India and Pakistan (held in Karachi), and Iran and the USA (held in UAE)
