Todd Weatherly lives just outside of Asheville in the mountains of Western North Carolina with his wife and family enjoying the mystical Blue Ridge Mountains as often as he can. Todd has his BA in Psychology and M.Ed. in Outdoor Education Administration. He is an NC Qualified Mental Health & Substance Abuse Prevention Professional (QMHP & QSAPP). He is a member of the Therapeutic Consulting Association (TCA), the Young Adult Transition Association (YATA), an associate member of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools & Programs (NATSAP), and the National Behavioral Health Association of Providers (NBHAP). He has been in the field of behavioral health for over three decades starting as wilderness treatment program field staff and emerging as a pioneer and leader in the field; a career driven by his deep commitment to serving others. Specializing in behavioral health treatment and program consulting, Todd has extensive experience in the treatment industry as a former Executive Director and CEO. Todd produces Mental Health Matters, a local radio show and podcast. He is a speaker, published photographer, professional facilitator and President of Stucker, Smith & Weatherly; a therapeutic and educational consulting practice helping programs, organizations, families and their loved ones navigate the complexities of mental health and substance use treatment and recovery.
