Managing pro-A/V products and projects for a variety of domestic and international OEM/ODM/OBM accounts, including, but not limited to, hardware design, web interface design, market research, and pre/post sales technical support (hardware, firmware, and software). Instrumental in the complete overhaul and redesign of the company’s OBM product web interface, including functionality/behavior definitions, Adobe XD mockups, and bug testing. Generated detailed product documentation for over 300 products, to date.

Administered multiple on site Windows-based file, web and mail servers (Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2, 2012) including a number of virtualized servers in addition to the online Office 365 Exchange server. Maintained the network routers and firewall for the main US office LAN. Troubleshot, identified, diagnosed and resolved technical problems related to the usage of computer and professional AV hardware and software for all employees in the USA. Additionally, continued all Product Manager duties.

Operating out of the TV One Asia office in Taipei, Taiwan greatly expanded the breadth and quality of TV One’s 3rd party video electronics offerings. Managed the product creation process from beginning (prototype testing, spec requirements, case design) to end (final production, shipping and after-sales support). Researched competitors’ products and sought out competitive products from both existing and new vendors via online contact as well as through direct vendor visits and attendance at the variety of professional and consumer electronics shows in Taiwan, Korea, Japan and China. Conducted hands-on testing and approval of all sourced products. Secondary tasks included maintaining the IT infrastructure of the TV One Asia and China offices, providing full product line technical support and giving technical training to our Asian dealers.

Diagnosis and repair of a wide range of professional and consumer video electronics equipment including line doublers, scan convertors, standards convertors and hardware MPEG recorders. Provided telephone and e-mail customer support. Planned and administered the company-wide Windows file server and e-mail server. Maintained the network routers and firewall for the US office LAN.

Script editing and subtitle timing for localized versions of Japanese animation for a variety of companies including, but not limited to, Bandai, Pioneer and Manga Video.

Installed and maintained the software packages and operating systems on over 150 workstations, set up user accounts, and other network administration duties. Physically repaired and maintained all CITS lab workstations. Responsible for assisting lab users with computer operation.
