As the developer of the "Wetlands Ambassador Program" at a local middle school, I created and implemented this bilingual initiative to bridge the gap between young students and environmental awareness. By working closely with the school administration, teachers, and students, I developed a dynamic curriculum that combined immersive wetland experiences with interactive educational workshops. This approach nurtured students' connections to their local ecosystems, fostering a sense of responsibility and passion for conservation. The program's significant impact on environmental education and community engagement was recognized with the prestigious Partner of the Year 2024 award from Orange County Public Schools.As the Environmental Facilitator for the Alianza Center's summer camp, I played a key role in fostering personal growth and development among Central Florida’s youth. I led the effort to integrate environmental themes into the camp's curriculum by guiding and supporting teachers from theater, arts, and environmental education. Collaborating with the theater teacher, I helped develop performances that highlighted environmental issues. With the arts teacher, I facilitated projects using recycled materials to emphasize sustainability. Partnering with the environmental teacher, I incorporated elements from our Wetlands Ambassador Program and renewable energy initiatives into camp activities.To bring nature closer to the students, I organized sessions with guest speakers who introduced live reptiles and birds, creating engaging and educational experiences. Additionally, I developed hands-on activities centered on solar energy and reducing carbon fuels, encouraging students to explore sustainable practices. These initiatives promoted social engagement, civic responsibility, and leadership skills, aligning perfectly with the camp’s mission to provide environmentally-focused and culturally-diverse activities.

My engaging and respectful communication style makes complex environmental issues accessible and relatable to young listeners.Through my skills in researching, interviewing, and storytelling, I have grown the podcast to over 3K+ active listeners, including a significant number of young people.
