SME4H is a proposed online community where humanitarian needs could be posted in real time by national governments, international agencies, local communities, businesses, NGOs and other stakeholders. Participating SMEs would be alerted when needs arise that are relevant to their location or technical capabilities and could choose to contribute to local and international humanitarian responses in a more targeted way. SMEs would also gain access to support and advice to make their businesses, and communities, more resilient to humanitarian events.
