Web helped startup executives best utilize their valuable time by acting as a trusted resource to offload significant parts of critical, yet extremely time-consuming tasks in three areas: 1). recruiting and sourcing, 2). business / product planning in preparation for pitching to investors, and 3). fundraising.After beginning his career as a Product Manager at Hewlett-Packard, Web was a very early hire at Sun Microsystems (Product Line Manager and Sales Rep), MIPS Computer Systems (Manager of Product Marketing) and RSA Data Security (VP of Marketing and Sales). While at RSA, Web spearheaded the efforts to create and then spin off VeriSign as a separate company, co-writing the Business Plan and raising the initial $5.4M from VC and corporate investors. He was instrumental in product direction and all early strategic alliances as the founding VP of Marketing and Business Development.
