At this internship I performed an assortment of duties. I have spent a majority of my time doing research into UAS/UAV. My group is specifically looking into a variety of topics such as operating a UAV for commercial applications, what is required for UAS operator training and assisted with writing a manual for some of MSU Denver's UAV equipment, simulators, and testing equipment. We collaborated with other departments on campus such as Journalism/Technical Communication and Industrial Design to take advantage of this emerging technology. We also assisted with bringing together businesses that could benefit from working together.
