I have always been enthusiastic about numbers since a young age. Solving maths problems and linking data was a skill I developed throughout my career journey. Before Covid-19 I decided I wanted to pass this enthusiasm on and became a Child Care Specialist teaching various ages and helping their passions grow and develop. I was able to achieve this both alone leading the activities or as part of a high-achieving team working towards the same goals. Throughout my career journey, I have consistently exceeded targets and performance goals whilst also seeking out areas for continuous professional development as a way to build my knowledge and understanding and adapt my thought process to new methods. however, I have now decided to pursue a new career path into becoming an accountant. I am currently studying Accounting and Finance at Chester University, and I am excited and enjoying developing and gaining in-depth knowledge in an area I am passionate about. Within this time I also have volunteered to become a Student Voice champion building on skills I have to gather data for improvement and action them.
