PhD project: Atomic layer Deposition (ALD) of Noble Metal Nanoparticles.In 2010, I started my PhD project at the Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands) in the “Plasma & Materials Processing” group of Prof. Kessels, in the frame of a collaborative European project of the Marie Curie Actions and the 7th Framework Programme.My PhD research covered the field of atomic layer deposition (ALD) of metallic nanoparticles and thin films. I developed several innovative thermal and plasma-assisted ALD processes for the preparation of oxide and metallic nanomaterials. -Main applications: fuel cells, solar cells, microelectronic chips and novel heterogeneous catalytic systems. - Scientific results: 6 publications, 5 oral communications,
