I held many positions during my ALLTEL tenure. I started at ALLTEL in the technical field and during my final years at ALLTEL, I restarted my career by moving into business side and growing from there. My last major accomplishments at ALLTEL were to help start the IT Procurement group for all IT hardware, software and services spend. We saved the company close to $65m in spend during the first two years of operation through better contract negotiations.

Managed customer relations with key accounts and developed business plans for our next generation sales support systems. Designed, implemented and project managed development of a nation wide Lotus Notes sales marketing system for IBM. We also designed and developed IVR applications for preventing medical claim frauds.

Worked with the sales organization providing pre and post-sales technical support. Worked closely with EDA/SQL developers during prerelease software deployments. Provided post sales support training services for the Information Builders EDA/SQL consulting organization. Project managed development teams utilizing Visual Basic, PowerBuilder and various other C/S development products for client funded projects. Consulted with customers on client server technologies and products. Trained developers on GUI development methodologies for Windows based products

Provided pre and post sales support. Assisted in development and implementation of LAN’s, WAN’s and MAN’s. Provided internal support for a national 3Com to Netware conversion project for Nations Bank. Worked with the Nations Bank help desk for network and applications support. Developed and implemented a nation wide backup and recovery program for Nations Bank Netware servers
