My first real work experience with computers started in1982 using Wang OIS and NBI 2000, considered to be advanced word processing programs for engineering and legal industries at the time. Eventually, I held a supervisory position responsible for training new employees on client computers and office applications. I also assisted in managing Local and Wide Area Network of computers and servers located throughout the US, Canada and Japan. After 10 plus years with the legal and engineering firms, I moved onto real estate sales and finance after obtaining and passing my California Real Estate Sales Exam. During my real estate years, again, I was responsible for the office network, employee training, setting up and managing the client computers and servers, related software applications for various office locations, including selling and financing residential and commercial real estate properties on a full time basis. All my work and personal experience as well as working in a professional office environment has prepared me for my true destiny - as a website designer and developer via WebsiteCenter.com which has been my primary focus for the last 23+ years. WebsiteCenter.com is setting the industry standard in website design for standalone independent informational and ecommerce websites. Our corporate mission is to provide small and medium sized businesses with high-end websites that can compete with other industry leaders at an affordable price; provide an affordable custom websites with search engine optimization and proven marketing strategies utilizing today's latest technology; and to provide the best personalized website design and marketing support and service possible with every client. If there is one piece of advice we can provide to small and medium sized businesses would be "to build your website in HTML5 and CSS3". HTML and CSS is the native language of the Internet and the World Wide Web (WWW). So building your website in HTML and CSS, makes your website search engine friendly. Doing anything right is not always easy. Building your site in HTML and CSS might cost you more than average to build your website in this format. But it will be worth it. Make sure to ask for a copy of your website on a CD or flash drive. You should be able to see all your web pages ending in .html - if it's not, then you're website is not search engine friendly. You need to request for your website to be built in HTML otherwise, your website designer will build it anyway they know how which will most likely be not search engine friendly.
