I joined Nexstar Lighting and served as its President during its early stages of providing retrofit services. Utilizing skills in marketing, business development, sales management and operations, I provided the leadership that fueled a 500% increase in sales in only five years.I also personally developed all marketing materials, marketing programs and operational procedures while building and leading the company’s sales organization.

I developed Inveco right out of college. Inveco was my first business launch and my first steps in what was to become a lifelong journey as an entrepreneur. Like many successful startups, Inveco was founded in our family garage. I was out to build a better mousetrap! The Inveco name was thus derived from Inventing & Company. I drove Inveco’s continued growth as an innovative manufacturing company that served national accounts such as Grand & Toy, Staples and Corporate Express.Inveco gave me the opportunity to design all of the products we produced as well as develop the operational and management skills necessary to beat the odds and keep the small business alive and well for over 25-years.As Chief Product Development Officer I developed innovative consumer products that were utilized by industry leaders and marketed in retail locations across Canada. ERGOTECERGOTEC was my launch into specialized computer furniture and was Inveco's primary product line.Coburn Dental SystemsSeeing an opportunity to add ergonomic dental furniture into Inveco’s mix and manufacturing capabilities, I purchased the rights to the Coburn Dental System. Dr. Coburn was a pioneer in designing an ergonomic dental cabinetry system. I purchased the rights to the system and teamed with Dr. Coburn to re-designed efficiencies into the manufacturing process and lower production costs so the line could be sold through distribution channels.
