Latest Project (Sefamerve.com):-Assisted the startup in various functions to reach $10 million in yearly sales in three years.-Expanded internationally to Europe and MENA via direct sales and partnerships.-Performed cohort analysis to determine customer lifetime value (CLV) and used it to determine the efficiency of marketing budgets.-Researched customer service call reasons and took corrective action in other departments to minimize or eliminate those reasons.-Developed internal systems for order processing and financial projections.-Formed an internal business intelligence tool to regularly access key business metrics including same customer orders, monthly recurring revenue, and more.

1)-Citibank (Client)-Architected and implemented a tool for Citibank’s Private Bank that enabled bankers to recommend re-allocations and risk optimization strategies to clients in real time.-Successfully reduced the total production time required to generate detailed financial performance reports to minutes from days by automating data extractions from internal sources and Bloomberg pricing models.2)-Bank of America Merrill Lynch (Client)-Created a web-based foreign exchange trading platform for booking live trades using streaming prices, viewing trade blotters, and real-time profit/loss calculations.-Created various peripheral applications and services to support the main application, carrying out functions such as loading customer data from various other bank systems, updating trade statuses based on events in other systems, and producing end of day reports. These were created as console applications which would run as scheduled tasks and windows services.-Created a web service API to allow other bank systems to interface with this application. The interface allowed other banks to retrieve rates, book trades, and query information.-Developed enhancements to the application such as pre-deal credit checking, 24 hour trading, FX Options (Vanilla and Exotic), Limit Orders, integrating with new pricing sources, and new reporting tools for various teams such as operations, finance, and office managers.-Created various reusable components for the team to use to help with functions such as reconciling data, rate calculations, converting between time zones, reading and writing to queues using IBM WebSphere MQ technology, and querying the Active Directory to get user information.-Participated in the support rota dealing with Help Desk queries on a weekly basis. This included speaking to traders, financial advisers, and the finance/operations.-Managed a team of 3 developers - 1 based in London and 2 based offshore.

1)-Grsp (Client)-Developed the back-end for a mobile app that helps people shop while in a store.-Developed a mobile web app using Meteor that we incorporated into the native iOS app for a hybrid solution.-Managed a hybrid onsite/remote team of four developers across back-end, web, and mobile.-Drove technical projects and provided leadership in a fast-paced environment.-Lead project management and recruiting, working directly with the CEO to ensure the proper planning, execution, and success of the product.2)-Hinge (Client)-Worked on a dating app that helps users find genuine, offline connections by utilizing the Facebook API to only introduce users to friends-of-friends.-Administered the Neo4J database for complex Facebook graph operations and "smart matching."-Conducted JVM tuning and analysis for optimal performance, detecting memory leaks in one of our scripts and allowing for 10x future growth.-Implemented platform features across Django and MongoDB.-Mentored younger engineers on cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.3)- TinyCo (Client)-Developed the back-end for beautiful, fun, and engaging games that can be played anywhere on mobile devices.-Worked with a wide variety of technologies on projects related to real-time analytics and scalable social gaming architecture.-Designed and developed a scalable click-tracking service, similar to bit.ly, for direct ad partners.
