In this case I flesh the record out so we have their contact details and ensure they know of the latest offers so they can make the most out of their membership.I am also responsible for training new members of staff, changing the phones over from am to pm shifts and turning them off for training/when the office is closed, delegating emails to the team and creating the team's rota. I provide support to my team members, one of whom has affectionately named me her 'sponge' as I pick things up so quickly. I am one of two people responsible for the manual (and time consuming!) process of posting salary payments, any and all Microsoft Excel queries within the membership teams and generally help out wherever I can. Most notably, I have been invited to numerous meetings attended by team leaders, managers and directors in which we are choosing CSSC's first CRM system - which is obviously not in the job description of a Customer Support Advisor. I have been present in the meeting to confirm details regarding the manual salary posting process and have been keen to ask questions in order to clarify what value the CRM would add to my team in particular and whether it is fit for purpose.We're a small but mighty team; our permanently stocked biscuit tin goes a long way in keeping us fueled enough to help our members and happy enough to do so with a laugh. -
