Served as the community service director for the Rotaract Club of UoN Afya, under Rotary district 9212. In this capacity, I worked with Mshauri Youth Empowerment Program to deliver junior secondary textbooks to Ushirika Resource Center in Kibera, together with the board and members of the club. We also set up an ongoing textile drive with Circularity Space under the Africa Collect Textile drive to collect and repurpose preloved clothing and shoes.

I worked with a team of developers in delivering a website, and a digital learning platform (2022).

I participated in the processing of relevant medical information on medical diagnoses, and a series of research experiments that the team is conducting on features of the unique BYON8 symptom checker (AI and database tasks).

I worked with a colleague on a project targeting high school-going students, with the aim of improving social skills.

• Participated in data collection for the purposes of internal auditing and fulfillment of the requirement of a thesis in Masters of Medicine degree.• Participated in data processing for various forms of collected data.• Collected data in 4 different projects, for internal auditing of operating theatre operations, the efficiency of services delivered in the orthopedic surgery department of the hospital, and mental health of healthcare professionals who are taking care of COVID-19 patients.• Administered online questionnaires for data collection, and participated in review and visualization of collected data.• Reported findings to Head of Research and Programs for review and appraisal.
