Designed engine casings that interfaced between the preexisting J85, and a custom afterburner downstream. Gained experience in trading between flight qualified versus rapidly produced designs, accounting for material sourcing difficulties and manufacturing limitations while meeting system requirements and schedules. Designed, built, and tested a custom thermal rake to evaluate engine thermal environments before sourcing a flame tracking sensor. Assisted in manufacturing the Front and Rear Wings of our composite carbon fiber aerodynamic kit. Assisted in mending defects, potting inserts, and component installation in the carbon fiber chassis.

Teaching assistant for IME 141 (Manufacturing Processes: Net Shape), which teaches students the properties of molding materials and methods of casting along with an introduction to rapid prototyping.Organized and prepared lab equipment during class, and provided technical assistance to students during the lab. Provided general assistance to the professor as needed.

Produced and taught lessons to kids aged 6-14 on math and mandarin for around 12 hours a week. Worked closely with parents to produce custom coursework that fit with the children's school topics.

Facilitated communications between community leaders and my team by creating surveys for the Salton Sea Community and researched and brainstormed solutions to the community's crisis

Translated order placements and other communications from Mandarin to English and vice versa for Chinese sales and engineering representatives in order to streamline communications with English-speaking clients. Developed an in-depth understanding of injection molding machines by shadowing the Chief Engineer during machine repair visits at local factories.
