• Co-Chair of the NASA/NOAA/USGS sponsored Federation of Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) Agriculture and Climate Cluster. Leading an experimental project on knowledge management for climate-change risk management with a focus on agro-ecosystem adaptation, wildfire mitigation, and wildfire emergency stabilization response.• Managed review panels on behalf of the American Association for the Advancement of Science for scientific proposals on sustainable urban infrastructure for climate-stressed regions and artificial intelligence techniques for environmental applications.• Consulting as the Senior Advisor for Data, Science, and Policy for an environmental risk assessment consultancy (ongoing engagement). Accomplishments:•• Formulated approaches to leverage data for evidence-based policymaking and strategic planning in the areas of (1) environmental sustainability, (2) climate resilient infrastructure, (3) programmatic prioritization.•• Authored analyses and presentations on how data-driven environmental risk-assessment fits within the context of specific US environmental statutes and regulations that were shared with the Commission for Evidence-Based Policymaking, selected US House of Representative committees, the Government Accountability Office, and the Environmental Protection Agency.
