About Wei-Chieh Mu

Enthusiastic computational biologist with over 4 years of experience in functional genomics. I received my PhD from UC Berkeley and my research aimed to understand the molecular mechanisms of aging, with an ultimate goal of developing new strategies to delay or even reverse aging. I applied computational biology tools (such as single-cell RNA seq and single-cell ATAC seq), flow cytometry, and mouse behavioral assays to study how sirtuins affect hematopoietic stem cell and brain aging.
