I am currently working as a public service interpreter.

Modules taken include: Liaison Interpreting for Public Services; Liaison Interpreting for Business A diverse range of interpreting techniques/modes were practiced including sight translation, chuchotage, the multi-party and escort mode. Conference Interpreting| English <> Chinese (Mandarin), both consecutive and simultaneous interpreting modes have been the focus of the study spanning over two semesters. I have continuous interpreting practices remotely and in the booth. Furthermore, I have acquired a solid understanding of how to best prepare for an interpreting assignment and have the full commitment to professional conduct specified in codes and ethics for interpreters. Translation Practices English <> Chinese (Mandarin),Over 10,000 words of translation have been completed in both directions and have been exposed to various types of texts including informative, descriptive, and argumentative.
